DataBlock - Scheduling OLAP Cubes

Follow these steps to create a scheduled OLAP DataBlock:

1. Edit the DataBlock that contains the OLAP Data Cube and select the OLAP Data Cube object. Under the parameters for the Data Cube, make sure that the Name parameter is populated. This is very important. Save and Exit.
2. Create a new Dashboard for the DataBlock.
3. Select the Dashboard and click the Schedule button.
   Note that only DataBlock Designer and Administrator user types can create schedules in Argos.
4. The Edit Schedule dialog box will appear. An explanation of the parameters entered on the Edit Schedule dialog are contained in the DataBlock - Edit Schedule page

To execute a scheduled OLAP Data Cube, simply execute the dashboard. You will be presented with a dialog box to choose a saved run state or run the cube live.
